Full day wedding filming coverage

​​Having tweaked wedding packages over the years, which has been hundreds of weddings, Couples  or should I say 'Brides to be' have hardly ever asked for anything less than what is listed below. That is why instead of offering a base package with add-ons that bump the price through the roof, I offer an all inclusive day coverage. This guide represents the total cost payable for a standard 11 hour day booking for weddings at venues within the Dornoch / Inverness radius. click the Table of Travel Costs ilink for a guide to work out additional travel costs.

Full-Day Package Overview

• Cost: £1,095 (includes 25 miles travel from Ardross  ie. Inverness to Dormnoch). (no VAT to be added)

• Duration: 11 hours (e.g., 10:00 am - 9:00 pm).

• Coverage: Typical coverage includes; bridal preps., ceremony, speeches, mingling, documenting photoshoot and the first dances

• Content clips for reels.

Equipment:

• Up to 5 cameras filming in 4K for the ceremony and speeches. (In venues with adequate an non-obstructive space)

• 2 cameras for evening reception (on extended tripod, and gimbal).

• Drone footage (pre/post-ceremony if safe and practical)

• Multiple radio lapel microphones

Travel & Additional Coverage

Included Travel:

Up to 50 miles (1-hour return  trip) from Ardross (Near Alness/Evanton).

Beyond this, £20/hour travel time and 35p/mile apply.

Additional Filming Coverage:

• Additional coverage after 9:00 pm:  or earlier than 10am £35 per half-hour.

• Bookings past 10:00 pm require a £50 overnight accommodation fee.

Booking Details

• Securing Your Date:  A £100 non-refundable booking fee is required. (This £100 is deducted from the agreed total at time of paying the balance)

• Balance Payment: Due no later than 2 weeks before the wedding.

• You can secure your booking without deciding on a specific package immediately. This can be decided closer the time, although it will be the main 11 hour package unless previously discussed and agreed by email or on messenger.

What’s Included?

• Morning Prep: Arrival at 10:00am to film bridal preparations (hair, makeup, gift exchanges, etc.).

• Ceremony: Multi-camera setup to capture the event in full detail.

• Footage during the setup at the post ceremony photoshoot:

• Includes footage of guests mingling and selected video clips of the couple during the shoot.

• Coordination with photographers is necessary to ensure time for video-specific shots.

• Speeches & Meal: (5 Cameras)

• Full coverage of speeches.

• Cameras are removed during the meal to allow space for catering staff.

• Evening Reception: Filming first dances, mingling, and key moments until 9:00 pm (or extended if pre-arranged) or if I started early

• and first 3 dances have passed I will leave earlier than 9pm.

Deliverables

• Main Edit: Approx. 2 hours, delivered on USB as files are very large. (The duration is mainly determined  by the ceremony and speeches)

• Highlights Montage: 8 1/2  - 10 minutes showcasing the best moments, uploaded to Vimeo and YouTube after approval.

• Social Media Sharing: Highlights shared on socials,YouTube and Vimeo with client consent.

Additional Coverage 

Reasons why extra overage may be requested.

Earlier start to get more morning prep footage or if in hotel or Castle etc. to give more opportunity to get location footage.

• Guest video messages.  (Guest Willingness Dependent):

• Ceilidh dancing, spontaneous performances, or family members on stage.

• The last couple of dances

• Fireworks.

Editing & Turnaround

• Time Required: 35-40 hours of editing per wedding.

• Turnaround: Approx. 8-16 weeks post-wedding (season-dependent).

• Tweaks: Clients can request edits to specific sections if no later than 2 weeks from receiving the main edit.  (e.g., “remove clip from 4:12–4:16”). Notification of any adjustments need to be made to me within 2 weeks of receiving the USB. If I do not hear from you before then, I will archive the main edit and highlights as an archive and delete the raw project files.

Additional Notes

• Shorter bookings may only be accepted at short notice or if midweek.

• The total cost includes time for setup of equipment on arrival and early starts or unscheduled late finishes will be accounted for.
